Top Scorers in the Czech Republic League: Marek Havlík Leads the Race

Marek Havlík is leading the scorers ahead of Spartan Lukáš Haraslín and Olomouc’s Lukáš Juliš, who have scored eight times so far in the league season. Let’s focus on the first six of the Gunners table, which also includes seven-goal scorers Václav Jurečka (Slavia), Pavel Šulc (Plzen) and Abdullahi Tanko (Baník).

Marek Havlík (10 goals, Slovakia)

He was inconspicuous for a long time during the fall. At the beginning of November, he had only 3 goals to his credit. But then in Pilsen he contributed two goals to a sensational 4:1 win and scored once at home against Baník (2:0), so he was named the league’s Player of the Month. He underlined his great weeks with the weekend cannonade against Bohemians. He now has a shooting success rate of 21.7%. With a total of 46 shots, he is the most frequently finished player in the competition.

The 28-year-old midfielder thus forcefully shot his way to the top of the standings. The paradox is that he has no goal assists this season. However, he distributed 500 successful passes to teammates with a success rate of 80.9%. He also recorded 7 passes for scoring chances, the most of the compared six. He also kicks corners (43), dribble success rate is 40.0%.

Lukáš Juliš (8 goals, Olomouc)

The return to Hana is going great for the long-time Spartan. He doesn’t have any assists yet either, but the shooter is reliable. To stay among the elite, he needs the least number of shots from the six (27), the shooting success rate of 29.6%, on the other hand, is the best. He also has an excellent pass success rate of 81.7%, but he doesn’t dribble much. He has only 5 successes with a success rate of 33.3%. It is strange that he was fouled only 3 times.

Lukáš Haraslín (8 goals, Sparta)

He also offers 4 assists for eight cuts, so with 12 points he is the most productive player in the entire competition. In early October, he was out for about a month due to an injury. He came back rested, as if he had more strength. He significantly helped Slovakia at the EURO, after injury he played 8 competitive matches with a record of 5+2. In the league, he sent 29 shots with a great shooting success rate of 27.6%. The pass success rate of 79.9% is not bad either, he completed 20 dribbles with a success rate of 44.4%. He was fouled 20 times, the most of the elite six.

I knew right away how to deal with Kuchtič’s pass, says Lukáš Haraslín. You don’t win against Betis every day, great result! Video: Sport.cz

Václav Jurečka (7 goals, Slavia)

Last season’s top scorer struggled at the start of the new year. Penalties help him a lot, he converted 4, which is the most of any player in the competition. Otherwise, he hit the goal only 15 times out of 43 shots and thus has a shooting success rate of 16.3%, the weakest of the compared six. On the other hand, the best of them is in dribbling success – 60.0%.

Pavel Šulc (7 goals, Pilsen)

Burns after larger doses and exclusively outdoors. He scored a hat-trick in České Budějovice, scored 2 goals in Zlín and Mladá Boleslav… He played only 14 league matches in the season, just like Haraslín. He added 2 assists, so he has 0.6 points per game. He hit the goal only 12 times, at least out of six, with a shooting success rate of 24.1%. He performed 24 successful dribbles with a success rate of 52.2%.

Abdullahi Tanko (7 goals, Miner)

When he moved from second division Varnsdorf to Ostrava in the summer, he was unknown to many. The Nigerian striker quickly introduced himself to them. He scored 5 goals until the end of September, then he was silent until Saturday’s two winning goals in Hradec Králové. He misses a lot of chances, his shooting success rate is 21.9%. Of the leading six, he distributed the fewest successful passes (137) with a success rate of 68.5%, on the contrary, he performed the most successful dribbles (27) with a success rate of 52.9%.

Of course, others also have a chance for the crown for the king of marksmen. By the end of autumn, the distances are not so big. Anyone who can explode like Havlik can also quickly make their way to the top of the standings.
