Thomas Müller’s Emotional Instagram Post Says Farewell to Bayern Kit Manager

München – You just have to like Thomas Müller (34). The FC Bayern veteran is known for his honest but also humorous nature. In short: Müller has his heart in the right place. The native Bavarian proved this once again. With an emotional post on Instagram, Müller said goodbye to Bayern’s long-time kit manager and brother of club legend Jens Jeremies (49), Frank Jeremies.

Müller posts an emotional picture with equipment manager Jeremies

The equipment manager is apparently leaving the Munich team in the winter after eight years. Together with Lawrence Aimable, Sebastian Pflügler and Martin Dellemann, Frank Jeremies was responsible, among other things, for the Bayern stars’ uniforms. “Dear Frank Jeremies – Thank you for all these years as part of our kit maintenance team,” Müller wrote in his Instagram post.

The striker also posted a photo together from the Bayern dressing room. Müller then grins shirtless into the camera and raises his thumb while Jeremies puts his arm around the attacker. It is unclear why the kit manager is leaving FC Bayern at the turn of the year. What is clear, however, is that he was apparently very popular with Müller and Co.

Bayern-Zeugwart is brother of Jens Jeremies

Frank’s brother Jens Jeremies played for the German record champions from 1998 to 2006 and became a Bayern legend during this time. With FC Bayern, the 49-year-old became German champion six times and won the DFB Cup four times. Jeremies’ greatest success was the Champions League victory in 2001. After the end of his career, Jeremies, who also played for TSV 1860 Munich for three years, withdrew completely from the public eye.
