The group stage of the Champions League ended this Wednesday with eight matches corresponding to zones E, F, G and H and with the results decided, the 16 teams classified for the round of 16 of the most prestigious competition in Europe are now known.
On Tuesday, with the closing of groups A, B, C and D, the first eight clubs that drew from the first round were announced and advanced to the second phase, which will be eliminatory – round-trip matches – until the decisive clash. This Wednesday, the eight remaining teams joined together to close the 16 that will seek to reach the long-awaited Wembley final.
The first legs of the round of 16 will be played on February 13, 14 and 20, 21, 2024, while the second legs will be played on March 5, 6 and 12, 13, 2024.
It should be noted that the first in each group are seeded and will face the second from the different zones. Likewise, no team can face another team from the same national federation and they cannot clash with a club that has been in the same group.

Next Monday, December 18, the draw for the round of 16 matches of the Champions League will take place at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland.
