If there’s one court that’s instantly recognizable in the NBA, it’s the Boston Celtics.

Since 1946, the C’s have played on a pretty parquet pattern. That is to say small pieces of wood organized in a geometric way, which gives a mosaic appearance. We can clearly see the square plates measuring 1m52 wide and long. They are arranged in such a way as to form what could be described as a checkerboard.
