The revolution is unlikely to happen

With its ruling against UEFA’s monopoly position, the European Court of Justice opens the door for a European Super League. UEFA’s reaction will not be long in coming.

Some would like to see Thursday’s ruling by the European Court of Justice as a revolution. In fact, it has the potential to change professional football to such an extent, as was most recently done with the same court’s ruling in the Bosman case in 1995. At that time it was about the free movement of people. After that, European football was different than before.
