“Being in the shoes of our athletes, who have trained and are about to capitalize on their immense efforts at the Olympic Games in Paris, I would wonder what the idiot politicians who drag politics into sports at all costs will come up with,” writes Petr Štěpánek – Trikolora.

Yes, we are talking about boycotting the Olympic Games. At the same time, the matter is completely clear. The International Olympic Committee’s decision that Russian and Belarusian athletes can participate in the Olympic Games under a neutral flag is fully in line with the Olympic Charter.

It’s just our stupid couch warriors dragging their prejudiced hatred into realms where it doesn’t belong. But the interesting thing is that they are kind of selective in their dubious endeavors. There were and are certainly more war conflicts in the world, but they only target Russia and Belarus.

In the case of Belarus, it is particularly interesting, because everyone can think what they want about Lukashenko’s regime, but Belarus does not actively participate in any fights. And this even in contrast to a number of countries, against whose participation in the Olympic Games stupid politicians and even stupider activists do not dare to raise their voice. And that they would be found.

Let’s be careful. The old saying “where stupid, there is danger” still applies.
