Fontajau’s new markers are already shining. The relevant tests were carried out with the technicians this morning from the Aragonese company Mondo and everything is ready for them to be released this weekend. Tomorrow there is a Spar Girona-Estudiantes (6.15pm) and Sunday Basketball Girona-Joventut (12.30pm).
These additions will complement the central video scoreboard screens and will represent an important improvement of the facility, as it will be able to be compared to other pavilions that also host competitions such as the ACB League or the Women’s League. This contract has been awarded to the company Mondo Iberica SAU, for a total amount of €138,778.67 (VAT excluded). In fact, Básquet Girona had a special permit from the ACB to play without the necessary markers, which ended up being extended for a year and a half.
Recently, too the public address system has been repaired, with the replacement of the high-pitched speakers, a fact that has made it possible to improve the sound quality of the pavilion. These works have been carried out by the company GRAVIS Audiovisuales & Acústica for an amount of €9,624.00 (VAT excluded).
