The New Biancorossa Home: A Vision of the Future for Pallacanestro Reggiana

This is what the new Biancorossa home of Pallacanestro Reggiana will look like. The project was presented this morning in the Ruote da Sogno location, after the preliminary acquisition agreement signed with Stu Reggiane Spa for the Shed 15, inside the Innovation Park, in the Santa Croce (Below video interview of Ginevra Ravazzini a Graziano Sassiboard member of Pallacanestro Reggiana: “The Casa a Biancorossa, a structure of this kind in Italy does not yet exist”.

The new Casa Biancorossa, which will involve a basic investment of 20 million, will be set up with training fields, gyms and also commercial spaces.

At the presentation, the president of Pallacanestro Reggiana Veronica Bartoli spoke about the need to own “property structures, to be able to invest and have a vision of the future”.

The mayor of Reggio Emilia Luca Vecchi thanked Pallacanestro Reggiana for an “investment that makes us proud”. The undersecretary for sport Giammaria Manghi also spoke at the presentation, representing the Emilia-Romagna Region: “A facility will be born in our territory that goes towards the global direction of innovation in the world of sport”.

The project, which will take approximately 18 months to complete, was presented by sports director Filippo Barozzi. Here are some numbers: “30 meters high, 145 meters long, 3 basketball courts, 2 stands with 500 and 200 seats, gym, offices, conference room, shops and panoramic terraces, all on 3 floors, for an investment of 20 million euros”.
