The Hornets: The New Target for NBA Punchlines?

The Pistons had been an integral part of our fan (and media) lives for two months. After their victory of the night against the Raptors, we must find a reason to live, another team that will serve as a target for our punchlines. Are we going for the Hornets?

The Pistons therefore stopped at 28. Incredible sentence. The Spurs had also reached the heights of draw a few weeks ago, but now that Cade Cunningham leads a team in great shape, we had to urgently check the franchise with the worst dynamics in the NBA. Ding ding ding, Charlotte is the winner !

A leader who is not really one (Terry Rozier), the one whose name we must not pronounce (the one whose name we must not pronounce), a rookie far from being a bust but far from being at the level of the cracks of his vintage (for the moment), and with the exception – perhaps – of Mark Williams… not many people on the local youth bus. LaMelo Ball absent for a month, the reasons for satisfaction are rare in Charlotte and we are therefore moving slowly towards surely towards a fight with the Wizards, the Spurs, the Blazers and the Pistons to recover the dunce cap of the NBA this season.

Note that the Hornets’ current series of defeats is notably the result of solid adversity, enough to make us want to look forward to the coming weeks for the North Carolina franchise. Well yeah, you’re either an investigator or you’re not.

Pretending to know a little about it, let’s assume that the next five games will be tough, even if the Bulls are never far from crisis. Ultimately the Spurs seem to be the only team within reach – on paper – of the Hornets until January 20, the Spurs that Terry Rozier and his bees would face “strong” with a current record of 0-15 if they were losing against Denver, Sacto and Chicago. Chick?

Nothing really bad in all this, we’re not kidding, we see, and with a little luck for Hornets fans (who?), the curse will do its thing tomorrow evening…
