Get in on the action today at Rocca Sinibaldaeven for the first time in Italy, an international horse archery competition, a discipline recognized as a UNESCO heritage site, at “Francesco Gabriotti” municipal sports center with the contribution of the International Federation IHAA (International Horseback Archery Alliance), the Csein (National Educational Sports Center) and with the patronage of Sport and Salute, the Province of Rieti and CONI. A fascinating and spectacular competition at the same time which boasts many followers especially abroad but which is also establishing itself in Italy. The archery on horsebackIn fact, it is a highly spectacular sport that requires a combination of physical and mental skills, including balance, coordination, agility, strength and concentration. The horses used are trained to work closely with the riders, creating a perfect synergy of the duo. 26 athletes from 12 European countries arrived in Rocca Sinibalda. An international level competition in the home ofAsd “L’Ardiglione” which for the occasion has three people from Rieti competing: for the senior category, 18-year-old Giorgio Antonelli, already sixth in the international competition in Spain last February, 16-year-old Carlo Antonelli and 13-year-old Lavinia Piacentini, engaged in the junior category. The event is accompanied by gastronomy and activities for the whole family, riding lessons and archery. Live music every evening: today the Fireflies and tomorrow “Not solo smooth” with the Romina Grimani show orchestra.
