The Detroit Pistons suffered their 19th consecutive loss last Friday at the hands of the Orlando Magic, which keeps them as the red lantern of the Eastern Conference with a 2-20 record.
Both franchises seemed to be on similar trajectories when the 2022-23 season began. However, its evolution ended up separating them. Now, in this one, the Magic share the lead in the East along with the Boston Celtics, while in Michigan they cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel.
