The dates of the Super Cup change: four matches postponed in Serie A

In Saudi Arabia it will be played from 18 to 22 January and, for this reason, the January calendar will change again. Four races postponed.

The dates of the Italian Super Cup change again, bringing new changes to the calendar.

The official announcement from the FIGC has not yet arrived, but now, as the Gazzetta explains, it is certain: the final four of the trophy will be played in Saudi Arabia between 18 and 22 January.

The mini tournament, which will see Napoli, Inter, Lazio and Fiorentina as protagonists, was initially set for January 4th and 8th, then between the 17th and 21st.

The first two solutions did not represent particular problems for the championship, but the third will imply the postponement of the four matches of the clubs concerned, postponing the matches by several weeks.

The new dates for the four Serie A matches affected by postponement (Bologna-Fiorentina, Inter-Atalanta, Sassuolo-Napoli and Turin-Lazio), will be set between February and March, with an eye on Europe, given that all four the clubs in the final four are still completing in their respective international competitions.

The semi-finals will be between Napoli and Fiorentina (the winner of the Scudetto and the finalist of the 2022/23 Italian Cup) and between Inter and Lazio (the winner of the Italian Cup and the second place in the championship).
