The Dallas Cowboys’ Unbeatable Home Game Streak: Can They Set a Franchise Record?

Week by week the reputation of the Dallas Cowboys grows and when it comes to home games, that one is intact.

The Boys land on Thursday Night Football against the Seattle Seahawks with three consecutive victories and are one of three undefeated teams at home. They are 5-0 at AT&T Stadium in 2023 and have scored at least 30 points in every game. Since Week 2 of the 2022 season, the Cowboys have won 13 consecutive games at their stadium, the longest active streak in the NFL.

The Boys are chasing a franchise record of 18 games without losing as a home team that dates back to when the team played at Texas Stadium between 1979 and 1981.

The Cowboys have also totaled at least 40 points in each of their last three home games. They can become the third team in the Super Bowl era and the fifth team in NFL history with at least 40 points in four consecutive home games.

Dak Prescott is on one of the best stretches of his career, throwing 18 touchdowns and just two interceptions since one of the worst games of his career in a 42-10 loss at San Francisco on October 8.

The Cowboys are 10-9 in the regular season against the Seahawks since their first meeting in 1976.

The Seahawks are coming off a loss to the Niners that was their second in a row.

The Seattle Seahawks defense has had some tough performances against strong offenses lately, allowing 31 points to the 49ers and 37 to the Ravens.

The Lamb factor

Two weeks ago, coming off a blowout loss to the San Francisco 49ers, Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was despondent and reasonably frustrated after one of the poorest performances by the Dallas offense since his arrival in 2020.

In the two weeks that followed, Lamb helped Dallas edge out the Chargers the following week before coming off a bye and posting career highs in receptions (12) and receiving yards (158) on his way to helping Dallas pull away with a 43-20 victory over the Los Angeles Rams.

Last week against Washington, Lamb had a touchdown and caught four passes.

Eyes on Bland

DaRon Bland is the first player in NFL history to record pick-sixes in a single season. He is also the only player to record five career interception return touchdowns entering his 30th career game.

The cameras will be on him every time Geno Smith challenges him with a pass.
