The Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League (NHL) have placed defenseman Zeke Werenski on the injured list.
The hockey player was injured on the night of December 28 in a game against the New Jersey Devils, and will be forced to miss several weeks.
Werenski is currently the Blue Jackets’ leading scorer with 25 (1+24) points in 34 games, and he also has the highest average playing time of 24 minutes and four seconds.
This is the second injury this season for the defender, which forced him to miss games.
