The Barcelona Court has scheduled the trial against Dani Alves for February 5, 6 and 7, accused of having sexually assaulted a young woman on the night of December 30 of last year at the Sutton nightclub in Barcelona.
The Barcelona Prosecutor’s Office has claimed nine years in prison for the former player. The public prosecution also requests 10 years of probation y a compensation of 150,000 euros for the victim.
The complainant, for her part, demands the maximum penalty of prison allowed by the Penal Code for a crime of this type: 12 years in prison. The private accusation, practiced by lawyer Ester Garcíarequests a longer sentence than the prosecution, which requests nine years in prison, although the same compensation: 150,000 euros.
