If there is one architectural curiosity in Rixensart, it is that of the archery tower which is located near the site of the old Genval paper mills. Classified as Walloon heritage since 2020, this building therefore welcomes, especially in winter, those who practice vertical pole archery or bird shooting. A very popular practice still in Belgium between the wars but which has become increasingly rare over time. However, the discipline remains, including in Walloon Brabant.
