The 2025 Women’s World Cup final at Twickenham

Twickenham Stadium has been selected to host the final of the Women’s World Cup, 10th edition of the event which will be held from August 22 to September 27, 2025 in England. World Rugby and the English Federation announced it on Monday, at the same time as the location of the opening match, scheduled at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland.

It was at Twickenham, an 82,000-seat venue, that the attendance record for a women’s rugby match was set in April: 58,498 people gathered in the London suburbs to witness the victory of the England face France in the Six Nations tournament.

Eight stadiums will host the matches of the 2025 World Cup, which will be the first contested with 16 teams and no longer 12.
