This is how far Terrence Ross’ career has come. The veteran guardwho spent 11 seasons in the NBA between 2012 and 2023, officially announced his retirement this past morning through his podcast, The T. Ross Podcast.

In an emotional intervention, the 32-year-old former player gave a broad review of his career, starting with the Toronto Raptors who chose him in the 2012 draft with number 8, passing through the Orlando Magic to whom he was transferred to be with them for up to seven seasons, and ending with the Phoenix Suns, the team with which he finished the 2022-23 season.

Without a contract, Ross entered free agency this past summer without any team noticing him. Regarding the reasons that led him to make this decision, the winner of the 2013 dunk contest points out that on the one hand injuries have been a factor, but that the most important is undoubtedly the desire to spend more time with his family.
