There are two camps in the management team at Borussia Dortmund. This division is now apparently leading to a big bang. As Sky first reported, a close confidant of sports director Sebastian Kehl (43) is about to leave!

On one side there are the chairman of the management Hans-Joachim Watzke (64), trainer Edin Terzic (41) and consultant Matthias Sammer (56). Watzke stands by Terzic unconditionally.

The other faction includes Kehl and his assistants Slaven Stanic (49, sports coordinator) and Daniel Beiderbeck (Head of Projects and Development).
According to BILD information, Stanic is close to being eliminated.

the reason for that is Stanic criticized Terzic in the Puma box of the stadium after the final whistle and said nasty insults against him. Terzic is equipped by Puma. An acquaintance of the BVB coach overheard the conversation and reported it to the management.
This incident serves exactly the main accusation that parts of the management already had against Stanic: that he was hired to be the interface between those in charge and the team. But he doesn’t do this enough and instead interferes too much in sporting decisions.
Watzke in particular dislikes Stanic’s work and his treatment of Terzic. That’s why the Kehl assistant is now on the verge of being thrown out. A separation is expected before Christmas and therefore before the winter training camp in Marbella (January 6th to 14th).
Kehl put together the team of Stanic and Beiderbeck because he knows Watzke’s great appreciation for Terzic. The sports director asked the management for a budget so that he could hire assistants. Watzke agreed. First, around a year and a half ago, came Daniel Beiderbeck, who previously worked as a management consultant at McKinsey. Stanic followed last summer.

The (non-)transfer of Edson Alvarez (26/Ajax), which was canceled after long negotiations, had already led to disagreements. Not all bosses also liked the appointment of Emre Can (29) as captain.
