Teddy Riner Talks Training, Goals, and Weight Ahead of Champions League

Teddy Riner (Double Olympic champion and member of PSG Judo, on the L’Équipe channel): “I’m in shape, I train well. I have just returned from a big training camp in Japan and here we are in Belgrade with Paris-Saint-Germain for the Champions League. The goal is to win, as always. We, a little bit, want to challenge football and handball by being the first PSG section to win the Champions League.

In terms of injury, everything is fine. I had a small sprain coming back from Japan. I wore a splint for two and a half weeks but it’s coming to an end now. How much do I weigh? This is an excellent question, even I would be incapable of this question since I don’t weigh myself at the moment. I am currently focused on training. The goal is to arrive at the Olympics at a weight that will allow me to be dynamic and express myself. But, for the moment, we are not talking about weight. We are at a high training intensity. »
