Archery weekend at the Tavaux gymnasium. The competition began on Saturday with 26 young archers. The competition continued in the evening with the adults until Sunday when the level increased in precision. A qualifying competition for the French 18m shooting championships which was sold out. “It’s one of our best competitions,” rejoices Amélie Cuenin-Caillaud, president of the Arc Tavaux Jura, satisfied with “an organization that works”. Note the good results in recurve arch of Anthony Barbier (Brienon/Armancon) with 573 points and Sandrine Pugeaux d’Asnans with 532 points. In compound arch, the young U18 Kassandra Dessirier, from Marchaux, will score 555 points. Good competition also for the Pontissaliens Stéphane Timossi with 565 points and Léna Dornier 556 points. The Arc Jura Tavaux will meet at the gymnasium on January 27 and 28, 2024 for a new qualifying competition.
