Fentanyl is consumed in Spain but until now it has always been under medical prescription. However, suspicious cases have already occurred and the national police have arrested a drug dealer who sold this substance in Andalusia.
The news broke in Lleida, There were five mysterious deaths there and, when asked about ‘Code 10’, the neighbors are clear: “Yes, 11 died.” What’s more, we have spoken with a man who has consumed this substance: “I brought it, it leaves your mouth dry. The feeling of flying in the sky, that you are not there.” But how did he get it? His response was ambiguous: “You know, there is everything here, there is everything, it is the street.”
Months later, fentanyl cases continue to occur throughout Spain. In La Rioja a woman was arrested for falsifying 179 medical prescriptions with which he achieved more than 10,000 pills.
It is not the only case, the police have arrested a drug trafficker in Andalusia who distributed cocaine but also had fentanyl. This is a 34-year-old man who allegedly brought drugs to homes and parties after receiving orders online.
