Multiple snowboarding world champion Seppe Smits and snowboarder Jules De Sloover were officially presented with the recognition. “The metal rails here in Wilrijk make it very interesting for me to train,” says snowboarder Jules De Sloover. “And the jump is also important to practice well for competitions.”
Seppe Smits is also enthusiastic about the recognition of SnowWorld in Wilrijk. “I have already noticed that the snow quality here is very good, quite comparable even to that in the mountains. So if you want to go to the mountains in winter, this is an ideal place to get your first meters back and get used to snow. This way you can immediately get back into the mountains.”
