Sisters Nele and Tine Gilis compete again in squash final on World Tour | Squash

New Zealand has a Silver label with a prize money of $77,500. The PSA WorldTour has bronze, silver, gold and platinum rounds.

Nele and Tinne Gilis were the first and second seeds in New Zealand. Top seed Nele Gilis defeated Malaysian Aifa Azman (PSA-31/4) in the semi-finals today in 4 sets: 11-8, 6-11, 11-3, 11-6. A little later, sister Tinne won in 3 sets against the Welsh Tesni Evans (PSA-30/3): 11-6, 11-4, 11-9.

In mid-November, the two sisters already faced each other once in the Singapore Open (Golden/112,500 dollars). Nele Gilis came out on top there.

Last week she reached the semi-finals at the Hong Kong Open (Platinum 190,000 dollars). Tinne was eliminated in the quarter-finals.

The New Zealand Open is the last leg of the PSA World Tour before the season finals, the Masters squash. The best 8 players of the year may participate.

That tournament traditionally takes place in June of the following year. Nele Gilis is currently fourth in the rankings for the Masters, Tinne Gilis seventh.
