For Sebastian Ofner, the trips over the last few months have been worth it.

With 1048 ATP points collected, the best placement of his career in the ATP ranking was achieved. Above all, Sebastian Ofner has a result in which a large proportion of the points were earned. With the successful qualification and the march through to the round of 16, we managed to get back into the top 100 at the French Open.

205 points, and therefore around 20 percent of the total points account, come from the successful run at the clay court classic Roland Garros. If you subtract these points, the current ranking would be between 60th and 70th. There is therefore no need to fear a total crash due to a large one-off loss of points. A clear advantage for the coming season.

No danger for Sebastian Ofner in Australia

The second highest points total comes from the Challenger title in Salzburg. There were 125 ATP points for winning at the highest Challenger level. The success shortly after the successful days in Paris underlined the strong form. But even deducting these points would not mean dropping out of the top 100.

Sebastian Ofner, who, as is well known, has achieved many good results on grass as well as on clay, can start the 2024 tennis year relaxed. At the beginning of the season, the Australian Open ended in the final qualifying round. A win in the first round would mean additional points.
