Sebastián Báez: Rising Star in the World of Tennis

At 22 years old, Sebastián Báez is beginning to establish himself among the best tennis players in the world. In 2023, he not only broke into the Top 30, but also lifted three trophies. And that was enough for him to join the list of the five players who won the most ATP titles in the year: he was only behind Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz, Danil Medvedev and Jannik Sinner.

On February 12, Sebita became champion of the Córdoba Open, beating his compatriot Federico Coria 6-1, 3-6 and 6-3 in the final. The 250 category tournament was held on clay at the Mario Alberto Kempes Stadium.
