The FIA has just announced the start list for the upcoming Formula 1 season. As expected, two teams with different names are on the starting list. AlphaTauri will have a different name, but is now still on the starting list as AlphaTauri RB. The former Alfa Romeo has shared an unsurprising new name.
Alfa Romeo is leaving as main sponsor, which means that the team will simply be called Sauber again. They join forces with their current title sponsor Stake and the streaming platform Kick. Kick was already on the car in a number of races this year, but now it also appears in the team name. The team is officially called Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber. In addition, the chassis also goes by the name ‘KICK Sauber’. The streaming platform will therefore have a greater role within the team.
