San Antonio Spurs and Utah Jazz Target Talen Horton-Tucker in Potential Joint Operation

Both the San Antonio Spurs and the Utah Jazz emerge as two of the teams destined to energize, to a greater or lesser extent, the coming weeks with regard to the commercial market. And they could even work to close a joint operation.

According to the media Salt City Hoops, those from Texas would be among the franchises interested in seeking a transfer for Talen Horton-Tucker. The young man ‘guard’23, is in the last season of his contract and previously shared reports indicate that his future is not in Salt Lake City.

In San Antonio, the presence of a point guard capable of supplying balls to Victor Wembanyama and exploiting his virtues is urgently needed. And while it’s true that Horton-Tucker doesn’t fit the standard mold for a ‘point-guard’, in Utah he has improved in directing and creating the game. In fact, in his last game he recorded a double-double of 19 points and 11 assists, and he is averaging 4.5 basket passes per game, the best figure of his career.

Curiously, Horton-Tucker was the only Jazz player who did not play a single minute in this Tuesday’s victory against, precisely, the Spurs despite being available.
