SAM judo Lherm has decided to introduce the parents of its young graduates during a joint session to celebrate the end of the year and the Christmas holidays.
Through games, mobility exercises and a little technique, each parent was able to discover this Olympic discipline with pleasure.
The roles were immediately reversed: the little judokas became their mom or dad’s teachers.
A new bond was created on the tatamis but also a new balance of power.
The children were proud to challenge their parents and show the full extent of their skills and the learning they had acquired. This moment of challenge was a moment of pleasure and laughter for everyone. It appeared to all participants as a nice Christmas present.
The course has, by all accounts, gone by far too quickly and they are hoping that another course will be offered soon.
