A few days before the Christmas holidays, here is an auction that could spark gift ideas among cycling enthusiasts!

This Wednesday, December 6, at 6 p.m., the Beking Monaco association opens an online auction until December 17 on the website matchwornshirt.com.

“The funds will finance the projects of the new Beking association, founded and managed by the runners, as well as Fight Aids, the event’s charitable partner”specify the organizers of this charity race organized on the Monaco F1 circuit, every autumn for three years now.

A first similar auction was organized ahead of the race on November 26.

A signed jersey from Peter Sagan, who competed in and won his last professional road race during Beking Monaco 2023, was then sold for 982 euros to an Australian. A Tadej Pogacar jersey leaving for Sweden for 709 euros.

Bottas’ Singapore Grand Prix helmet for sale

For this second sale which begins this Friday, a significant number of lots will be put online at 6 p.m.

“Some of the items for sale are particularly valuablerevealed the organizers this Wednesday. Like Valtteri Bottas’ helmet during the Singapore GP, Sagan’s jeroboam and the European championship jerseys of cyclists Sonny Colbrelli and Matteo Trentin.

The jerseys worn by the peloton of stars on November 26 are also up for grabs, or even “the FSA handlebars signed by Matej Mohoric and Primoz Roglic, the bottles of Prosecco Astoria signed by all the participants in the Pro Race”and lots of other goodies, autographed or not.

Beking Monaco, whose association has just been born, is an event which supports charities through cycling while raising awareness of cycling as a synonym for sustainable mobility.
