River faces Rosario Central in the semifinal of the Professional League Cup this Saturday from 10 p.m. at the Mario Alberto Kempes Stadium. Martín Demichelis cleared up the doubts and confirmed the team that will start from the start.
River’s formation to face Central is: Franco Armani; Sebastian Boselli, Paulo Diaz, Ramiro Funes Mori, Enzo Diaz; Enzo Perez, Nicholas De La Cruz, Facundo Collidio, Esequiel Ship; Pablo Solari and Solomon Knee.
With this confirmed training, Demichelis will give Sebastián Boselli the chance to make his official debut at the club -he had already played friendlies- and also makes important changes in the offense with Colidio from the start behind the forwards.
How does River get to the semifinal against Rosario Central?
Martín Demichelis’s team came second in Zone A and that is why they faced the third team in Zone B in the quarterfinals. The rival in that instance was Belgrano and the duel was played – incredibly – at the Mario Alberto Kempes. El Millonario was superior to Pirata and beat him 2 to 1 in agonizing fashion with goals from Salomón Rondón and Facundo Colidio.

And Rosario Central?
El Canalla also joined Zone A and entered the quarterfinals, finishing fourth in their zone. That’s how they faced Racing in Salta in the quarterfinals. After a match that featured Miguel Ángel Russo’s team, which won 2-0, those from Avellaneda tied it. Central was better on penalties and that’s how they earned their place in the semifinal of the Professional League Cup.

The winner of the match between River and Rosario Central will earn a place in the League Cup final. It would be played on Saturday, December 16, starting at 9 p.m. at the Único Madre de Ciudades Stadium in Santiago del Estero. The other semifinal was in the hands of Platense who beat Godoy Cruz on penalties in San Nicolás.
