BARBANIA – These are days of mourning in Barbania, Corio and in the Ciriacese area for the death of Nadia Ruo Bernucchio, esteemed and well-known co-owner of Ruo Bernucchio Arredamenti, a family-run company that has been operating in the furniture sector since 1963, combining the passion for made in Italy with the taste and experience of artisan tradition.

The terrible announcement of his passing was made by his sons Isaia, Jacopo and his partner Michele with the whole family. The 56-year-old was torn prematurely from the affection of her loved ones by an incurable disease, against which she nevertheless fought with strength and courage until the end.
Nadia Ruo Bernucchio lived with her family in Barbania. She graduated from the Tommaso D’Oria Institute of Higher Education in Cirié, starting to work in the family furniture factory in 1985, taking care of the administrative side together with her father Gianfranco and her brother Massimo.

She was passionate about sports, especially judo and skiing, and, above all, country music and dancing. After the funeral, which took place at the beginning of December, the family invited friends and acquaintances to make a donation to the Women Against Lung Cancer association and the FARO foundation: a non-profit organization that offers free assistance, at home and in hospice, to sick people suffering from chronic-degenerative diseases and in need of treatment.
