Reichraming Dominates to Win Third Consecutive Upper Austria School League Championship

Last week the champion was determined as part of the Final Four of the Upper Austria School League.

REICHRAMING. The two best teams from Pools A and B met in Reichraming for a showdown. The young judokas from Reichraming successfully defended their title and more than lived up to their role as favorites. The championship crown of the coveted Upper Austria Student State League goes to “the Gallic Village” for the third time in a row. In the semi-finals they met the student team from Ujz Mühlviertel, which they were ultimately able to put in their place with a clear score of 12:4 after exciting and sometimes very close battles. The final against the Kirchham Judo Union was therefore certain.

The foundation stone was laid

This final was somewhat surprisingly a clear affair, despite very intense and close fights. The foundation for the title was laid with a clear 7:1 in the first round. The second round was closer and ended 5:3 for Reichraming.

“I expected a win, but it ended 12:4, I didn’t expect such a fantastic finale,” said a proud coach Alfred Jr. Scharnreiter. “The boys and girls more than deserve the champion T-shirts.”

The successful championship team:
Thomas and Stefan Stadler, Otto Kalkhofer, Christoph Grimm, Katharina Schmidthaler, Simon Gierer, Lisa Krempl, Maximilian Hron, Philipp Weißenhofer, Julian Neubauer-Swallow, Niklas Kepplinger, Joel Gassenbauer and Clemens Pondorfer
