Rafael Nadal has apparently made his comeback. At least that’s what his colleagues who trained with him in Brisbane attest to.

Two of the greatest the sport has ever seen: Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray after training in Brisbane

Actually, one could assume that Rafael Nadal will only return to the ATP tour if he is 100 percent sure that he can play for tournament victory in his appearances. No reliable statement can yet be made about this. The impressions that Nadal left during his training sessions in Brisbane show that the Spanish legend is in a strong condition.

Holger Rune, who was in first place, said this: “That was probably the hardest training I have had in the last six months,” Rune is quoted as saying, who is starting the strong 250cc event against local hero Max Purcell. Training partner Nadal initially has to deal with either a qualifier or a lucky loser.

Murray immediately against Dimitrov

He, Rune, sat down with his team afterwards and said that Nadal had played incredibly. By the way, this team does not yet include Severin Lüthi and Boris Becker, but they will soon join Rune.

Andy Murray now also had the pleasure of training with his old companion. And wished Nadal all the best for his return. Incidentally, Murray will immediately have to deal with Grigor Dimitrov, who is in second place.

And Dominic Thiem has already tested the Spanish grandmaster. And lost the training set against Nadal. But of course, like everyone else, he knows that the real test only comes in the first official appearance.
