The Spanish legend, who will return to competition in January in Brisbane then at the Australian Open, has already confirmed his participation in the ATP 500 in Barcelona, from April 13 to 21, provided that he has no problems obviously physical.
The last time he participated in the tournament in 2021, Rafa defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final and thus won his 12th title on the court that bears his name.
