PSG: the cracks, the good students and the dunces… Our report card for the first semester

Methodology: a player must have played at least 45 minutes of a match to be rated. Of the 23 matches played by PSG this first part of the season, we have agreed on two ratings for each player: one for performance, which corresponds to his average in Le Parisien, and one for participation, which corresponds to the number of ratings received ( for Kylian Mbappé, rated 20 times out of 23 possible, we obtain, according to our model, 9.17/10). We have isolated the average of the scores received during the 6 Champions League matches for information purposes, without this having any weight in the ranking.

Our overall score for the first part of the season is made up of the performance score (coefficient 3) and the participation score (coefficient 1). Mbappé’s 6.62/10 therefore corresponds to: (5.78 x 3 + 9.17 x 1) /4 = 6.62.
