The weeks follow one another and have been similar for almost 4 months for this Granada team which still cannot win a match! The Andalusian club’s last success dates back to August 26 against Mallorca (3-2) at the Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes. The Medina team only took 2 points against Getafe (1-1) and against Athletic Bilbao during the last 8 days of La Liga. The Andalusian club has just lost to Vigo (1-0) in this last championship match. Sevilla FC won their last match on the field of Atl.Astorga (0-2) on December 6. Since this date, the Sevillian club has lost in quick succession to Mallorca (1-0), to Lens (2-1) in the Champions League and to Getafe (0-3) this weekend. Sevilla FC must take points from Granada which is 5 lengths behind because Celta Vigo, 18th and first relegated, has the same number of points as the Rakitic squad. A defeat could therefore plunge the Sevillians into the red zone.
