Pradines Badminton Club Thrives in 2022/2023 Season

It was in an extremely pleasant but serious atmosphere that Pradines Badminton made its 2022/2023 assessment, this Saturday, December 15 in the presence of Denis Marre, mayor of Pradines, Didier Chaubet, president of the Lot departmental badminton committee and François JORDAN , deputy president of the Grand Cahors Sports Office. The 2022/2023 finances are healthy. They benefit from subsidies from the National Sports Agency and the City of Pradines, as well as sponsors (Leclerc, Décors Loisirs, Euréka, Quercy Jardins Nature, Pons carpentry and Artisabois) Pradines Badminton is a dynamic club constantly increasing its workforce with 190 licensees during this last sporting season. 106 young people including 64 boys and 42 girls and 84 adults including 41 men and 43 women. The club has recorded a clear lead among women practicing Badminton – undeniably parity! The club is present in all instances where badminton can be organized or demonstrated: Forum du sport du Grand Cahors, the start of the Pradines associations, after school and in the summer at the Îlot aux Pirates with the practice of Air Bad. As for results, players of all categories shine almost everywhere. Departmental championship: juniors, juniors, cadets and juniors won 7 titles out of 12, among the mid-bads the success is complete with 8 titles out of 8. The seniors are not unworthy with 8 titles out of 17. The adult interclub teams are just as brilliant with a team that plays in regional 2. It is a great team of leaders who orchestrate this adventure with Baptiste Dajean tireless coach surrounded by co-presidents Cynthia Colmagro, Sylvie Minard, secretary Victoria Roumègue and treasurer Virginie Raffy
