The Pistons host the Grizzlies at Little Caesars Arena. In the midst of a reconstruction process, it seems that the Pistons are heading towards a new season which could prove very disappointing, probably keeping them in the bottom of the Eastern Conference with already 18 defeats in 20 games! Currently, the team’s priority is the development of young talents such as Cade Cunningham and Jaden Ivey, who are considered future pillars of the franchise. This season will therefore resemble the previous ones in terms of results. But the objective is really that young players can gain experience and contribute to the rebirth of the franchise in the medium and long term.

Memphis has had remarkable success over the past two regular seasons, finishing in second place in the West each time. However, their best player and superstar, Ja Morant, is missing the first 25 games of the season following his suspension by the NBA. This leaves Taylor Jenkins’ men facing a huge challenge as they face the opening months of the season without their leader. A challenge that already seems very difficult to meet since Memphis could only lose 14 of its first 19 games. Which is very worrying…
