Offensive Player Spotlight: QB Jayden Daniels, LSU

Daniels paced all quarterbacks in overall grade (94.7) and rushing grade (92.4) while ranking second in passing grade (91.9). He also led all FBS signal-callers in passing touchdowns (40), yards per attempt (11.5), passer rating (143.7) and rushing yards (1,250) and commanded the nation’s most efficient offense by expected points added per play.

Defensive Player Spotlight: LB Edgerrin Cooper, Texas A&M

Cooper was the most valuable linebacker in college football this season, according to PFF’s wins above average metric. His 91.7 PFF grade led all FBS linebackers, and he was the only linebacker to earn 85.0-plus grades in run defense, in coverage and as a pass-rusher. Cooper was our pick to win the Butkus Award, given to the nation’s most outstanding linebacker.

Offensive Line Spotlight: Georgia Bulldogs

Georgia’s offensive line trailed only Oregon State’s in overall grade this season. The Bulldogs’ front five finished as the only Power Five unit to earn 80.0-plus pass-blocking and run-blocking grades this season.
