On the second day of competitions of the XXVII South American School Games 2023which are carried out in Santiago, Chile, the Peruvian delegationwho traveled to the event with the support of the Peruvian Sports Institute (IPD), achieved his first seven medals this Wednesday, December 6.
He won the first medal Crose Sunday, who won silver in the long jump event, with a mark of 5.42 meters. The gold went to the Brazilian Viviany de Lima (5.71) and the bronze went to the Colombian Samantha Peñuela (5.21).
While in judo six other medals were achieved. Two silver thanks to Benjamín Burnside (44 kg) and Ashlee López (36 kg); as well as four bronze through Piero Herrera (48 kg), David Urrutia (36 kg), Johan Rivera (40 kg) and Camila Sánchez (44 kg).
