The Archers of Pérols hosted an archery competition, qualifying for the French championships, on December 17 at the La Tour gymnasium. More than 100 archers, from all over the department, took part in this event to try to access the French championship, including around ten members of the local club.
“This year, there is a real excitement among us, after the arrival of a coach who follows the licensees and helps them progress,” explains Nicolas Catayee, president of the club, who is delighted with the participation of members in this competition. .
The club won three third places, two fourth places and a winner’s place thanks to Mélissa Crouzet, in the senior 1 ladies category.
The association has 50 members aged 10 to 70, with three training sessions per week, one of which is led by the coach.
The next qualifying competition organized by the club will take place on Sunday January 14, at the La Tour gymnasium.
