Anatole, his little brother, was right to give him a mascot from the Paris Olympic Games as a good luck charm. Seven months before the event, Marjorie Delassus has her ticket in her pocket and is thus assured of lining up next summer on the artificial river of Vaires-sur-Marne. “It changes a lot of things, there is really a before and after selection,” smiles the woman who is preparing to experience her second Olympic Games at the age of 25.

“I’m super relieved, I’ve had a difficult year, with a lot at stake. The season didn’t go the way I wanted from a performance point of view. Mentally, it was difficult until the end. Being selected early allows you to better understand this extraordinary event. I’m super happy and I can’t wait to experience everything that awaits me,” she adds.
