Seven months before the event, Marjorie Delassus has her ticket in her pocket and is thus assured of lining up next summer on the artificial river of Vaires-sur-Marne. “It changes a lot of things, there is really a before and after selection,” smiles the woman who is preparing to experience her second Olympic Games at the age of 25.

“I’m super relieved, I’ve had a difficult year, with a lot at stake. The season didn’t go the way I wanted from a performance point of view. Mentally, it was difficult until the end. Being selected early allows you to better understand this extraordinary event. I’m super happy and I can’t wait to experience everything that awaits me,” she adds.
