Overview of Koro and Zilang Cup Judo Tournaments for Children and Elementary School Students

​1st Koro Cup Chibikko Judo Tournament

Kokugakuin University Judo Hall

We rented the Kokugakuin University Judo Hall to hold the first Koro Cup tournament. This tournament was mainly for lower grades, from kindergarten to third grade, with a small number of matches, and there were team competitions between 27 teams from 11 invited participating dojos and individual competitions between 175 participants.

Toin Gakuen Sports Building Main Arena

The third Koro Cup was larger than the first and second tournaments, with 23 organizations and approximately 478 participants participating in the main arena of the Toin Gakuen gymnasium building.

​2nd Koro Cup Chibikko Judo Tournament

The venue was larger than the first tournament, and the competition was centered around children in their first, second, and third year of elementary school, with heated matches ranging from those playing for the first time to high-level matches.

​The 4th Zilang Cup Judo Competition for 6th grade elementary school students

Nippon Sport Science University Setagaya Campus Judo Hall

The 4th Korou Cup, held for the first time in three years, was a judo tournament for 6th graders, which was the final weight-based judo tournament for elementary school students leading up to junior high school.
