REPUBLIKBOBOTOH.COM – The drawing results for the Nusantara Open 2023 youth tournament initiated by Garudayaksa will start rolling at the Garuda Football Academy, Bekasi on 14-21 December 2023.
This event was attended by 16 participants, 11 Elite Pro Academy (EPA) Teams and five academies. 11 EPA teams, namely Persija, Persib, PSIS, Arema FC, Bali United, Borneo FC, PSM Makassar, PSS Sleman, Persis Solo, Rans Nusantara, Bhayangkara while the academies, namely PSLS Lhokseumawe, Bintang Timur Atambua, Garudayaksa FA, Malut Selection and ASIOP Apacinti.
Persib Bandung U-17 is the defending champion in the first edition of the Nusantara Open and is in Group A and will meet RANS Nusantara FC, Arema FC and Borneo FC.
Persib Bandung’s match against RANS Nusantara FC is the opening of the 2023 Nusantara Open tournament. This tournament is planned to be opened directly by Prabow Subianto and also Erick Thohir.

The 2023 Nusantara Open is scheduled to take place from 14 December to 21 December at the Garudayaksa Football Academy Complex, Cileungsi, Bogor Regency.
Persib Bandung was labeled as the defending champion because in the previous edition, Persib Bandung U-17 managed to emerge as champion.
This tournament itself contains ideas from Prabowo Subianto and consists of 11 Elite Pro Academy (EPA) teams and also five academy teams.
The eleven EPA teams that sent their own teams apart from Persib were Persija, PSIS, Arema FC, Bali United, Borneo FC, PSM Makassar, PSS Sleman, Persis Solo.
Rans Nusantara, Bhayangkara and five academies: PSLS Lhokseumawe, Bintang Timur Atambua, Garudayaksa FA, Selection Malut and ASIOP Apacinti.

“For the opening on the 14th, it is planned that the chairman of the Garuda Yaksa Board of Trustees, Pak Prabowo, will be present. “And until now Mr. Erick Thohir as Chairman of PSSI is still confirming his arrival,” said Farah Djemi Francis as chairman of the Organizing Committee, as reported by Indosport.com.
Apart from that, it also invites legends and also star national team players who will attend.
Without hesitation, throughout the Nusantara Open 2023 event, the participants will be directly monitored by talent scouts.
Later they will be sent to Qatar for three weeks to study at Aspire Academy at the end of December.

“This year we will look for talent with 6 coaches and Indonesian football legends. The result will be around 22 best players. “The plan will be sent to Aspire Academy in Qatar to take part in the elite program in 3 weeks,” said Committee Chair, Dusan Bogdanovic.
