Noshiro Basketball Academy is a club team that is active in Noshiro City and Yuzawa City, and is attended by students from junior high schools that do not have a basketball club or students who want to continue honing their skills even after retiring from junior high school clubs from all over the prefecture. In the prefectural qualifying round, they won all three games with a difference of 20 points or more.
The Keio Junior Winter Cup is a tournament in which 52 men’s teams from all over the country compete, including club teams, junior high school teams, and B League junior teams. Noshiro Basketball Academy made it to the top 16 last time, which was their first appearance, and will aim to go even higher this time.
The tournament will be held from the 4th to the 8th of the new year, and Noshiro Basketball Academy will play against the Gunma representative on the first day.
