League leaders Niners Chemnitz have continued their successful streak in the Basketball Bundesliga. The Saxons won on Wednesday (December 20th, 2023) against newly promoted SC Rasta Vechta with 81:80 (40:39).
Wesley van Beck converted the decisive three-pointer six seconds before the end. In addition to the US professional (14 points), DeAndre Lansdowne (22) and Kevin Yebo (17) were the most successful from Chemnitz. For Vechta, Tommy Kuhse (22), whose last attempt missed the Chemnitz basket, and Wes Iwundu (16) scored the most points.

The spectators saw a very exciting game. Neither team was able to gain a double-digit lead. The Saxons equalized a 25:32 deficit (15th) to 36:36 (18th).
