Chemnitz – Christmas peace? Not available for the Niners!

The Chemnitz team still has to play four games this year. The home game against Heidelberg starts this Saturday at 8 p.m.

This is followed by the games in Vechta (December 20th), at home against Crailsheim (December 26th) and the duel at Alba Berlin (December 31st).

If everything goes perfectly, coach Rodrigo Pastore’s (51) basket hunters will start the new year as leaders. Two surprise teams face each other at the trade fair today.

Niners Chemnitz That’s why the Niners Chemnitz missed out on making it to the semi-finals

Quite a few experts expected Heidelberg to be in the top third of the table before the season. They are currently in second-to-last place with just two wins from ten games.

The Niners won all BBL games after their opening defeat at champions Ulm. This Saturday they are aiming for their 10th win in a row.

It will be interesting to see how they cope with the rigors of the journey. The Pastore team only returned from the Europe Cup trip to Romania on Friday night.
