On Thursday, the league revealed its plans to host games outside the United States and European football fans will have the opportunity to see the Buffalo Bills, Tennessee Titans, Jacksonville Jaguars in action and the Kansas City Chiefs. However, nothing was offered to other countries, including the maple leaf.
In recent days, Olympic Park spokesperson Cédric Essiminy said his organization is discussing with the NFL about holding one or more international matches at the Olympic Stadium, where a playing surface certified “FIFA Quality Pro » has been installed.
“Obviously, it is not in 2023 that the NFL will announce whether it chooses Montreal. An organization like the NFL doesn’t move teams one or three months in advance. It’s a huge amount of planning that can take two, three or four years to do a game outside of the United States. Back in Germany
This is the second year that the Goodell circuit has exported its product to Germany. Last year, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Seattle Seahawks at the Allianz Arena in Munich. This time, the “Pats” and the Chiefs will be the home teams for two meetings.
