Last days of 2023 and the first transfer window in the NBA, where New York Knicks and Toronto Raptors have closed an interesting trade. OG Anunoby, Precious Achiuwa and Malachi Flynn leave Canada and fly to the Big Apple, while Canadian RJ Barrett, guard Immanuel Quickley and the 2024 second choice (coming from Detroit so will probably be between 31 and 33) make the opposite journey. .

Onunoby and Achiuwa are out of contract at the end of the season, then the former has a 20 million player option (barring surprises he will decline it to sign a richer extension in the next few days) while the latter has a 6.3 million team option. Flynn like Achiuwa but at slightly lower prices.
Quickley is in the same contract situation as Achiuwa and Flynn while Barrett will be tied up until 2027 for more than $80 million.
